Who We Are

St. Joseph's College of Education, Mysuru is a Roman Catholic minority institution managed by the Mysore Diocesan Educational Society. It was founded in 1971 by the late Most Rev. Dr. Mathias Fernandes, Bishop of Mysore, and named after St. Joseph, Patron Saint of the Diocese.

Affiliated to the University of Mysore, recognised by NCTE and accredited by NAAC, the college prepares competent, compassionate teachers through a rigorous two-year B.Ed programme.
